Putting Things in Perspective

So, first off, if you’re at all interested in science and space, you should be reading Phil Plait’s Bad Astronomy, especially since CNN is doing away with their coverage of those areas.  Today’s choicest bon mot from Mr. Plait involves comparing the bailout boondoggle to the money we’ve spent on NASA over the years.  The results are…troubling, even considering the flaws in the argument that are pointed out in the post’s comments.
